R9 is the son of famous sure G113 a powerhouse (trait leader) for carcase weight and marbling. R9 is entered into the AWA PTP program in the second cohort. This bull has excellent growth and carcase weight, combined with nearly twice the breed average for marbling. Not only does he bring superior carcase traits, but this bull is fertile, structurally sound, and displays a calm, manageable temperament. On his dam line he has DM100 who is well know for his thick set frame that he passes onto his progeny. With above breed average for all index’s, this bull is a good solid all rounder.
