OUR VISION

Combining 100 years of Grazing experience, modern Genomic evaluation tools, performance recording and including a wealth of knowledge in the Wagyu Breed, the Bishop Family aim to produce the Highest Quality Wagyu Bulls.

Our Family first started producing Hereford cattle in the Hunter Valley NSW Australia as early as 1906. In the early 1960’s William Bishop started Wotton Polled Hereford stud. The stud grew to 400 registered cows selling 110 bulls pa on farm. In 1996 the stud was dispersed, and our family began the Wagyu journey.

In 2017 we moved to Cowra in Central West NSW to ‘Rosedale’, which had not changed ownership in 83 years. With plenty of hard work and determination ‘Rosedale’ has been transformed into a leading Fullblood and Commercial Wagyu breeding hub. Producing Fullblood bulls for commercial and stud producers as well as F1 feeder cattle to the feedlot sector.
