Bishop Wagyu have been producing Wagyu X Angus F1 and Full Blood Wagyu cattle for the Australian feed lot sector since 1998. 

In this time we have learnt a lot about Wagyu and Angus cattle, how they are produced and how to breed them to target specific markets.

Our Angus X Wagyu cattle are constantly averaging over 440kg HSCW after 350 DOF with an average MBS of +6.4

BREEDING PRINCIPLE

With over 100 years in beef production and 25 years specialising in Wagyu bull breeding and production the Bishop family have developed an objective breeding approach to produce Full Blood Wagyu cattle.

We consider both Science based analysys including Genomic EBV’s and production traits that include, Fertility, Milk production, Growth, carcase weight, carcase marbling and carcase yield.
